How and Why the Rolled Mattress
Your new mattress has been rolled up to ensure easier, faster and more eco-friendly delivery. This technology allows us to significantly reduce the space taken up during transport, helping to contain logistics costs and reduce CO₂ emissions related to distribution.
By following these simple instructions, you can prepare it for use safely and correctly.
Be careful when using sharp objects
When opening the package, do not use sharp blades, sharp scissors or box cutters directly on the mattress . There is a risk of damaging the fabric or internal materials. We recommend that you gently cut only the first layer of external nylon, taking care not to cut too deeply.
Placement on a flat surface
Remove the rolled mattress from the box and carefully place it on a flat and stable surface , possibly near the area where you intend to use it (bed, base or base). This will make it easier to unroll and facilitate its expansion.
Unrolling
Once the mattress is laid out, carefully remove the second layer of vacuum-sealed plastic . The mattress will immediately begin to air out and swell. Don't worry if it feels compressed or wavy at first - this is normal.
Waiting for complete swelling
To allow the mattress to regain its optimal shape and comfort , wait at least 24/48 hours before using it. In well-ventilated environments and at room temperature, the process may be quicker. During this time, the mattress will gradually recover its original dimensions and ergonomic characteristics .
Avoid exposure to heat sources and intense light
During and after inflation, do not expose the mattress to direct sunlight, UV lamps or heat sources (such as radiators, stoves, fireplaces, etc.). The internal materials, especially the foams, could be damaged or their properties could change.
